my confection

I confect that I have a problem with my concentration because when I am doing my homework I get distracted by my PS3 very easily. I got the concentration problem after 7^th grade. I don’t know how I got it but I am losing my grade because of my problem. Every day I go home and do my English home work, but while doing my other homework I get distracted by something. I do complete my homework but it takes longer than it usually takes.

            I feel comfortable to doing my homework at 10 PM. Because of that I do all my homework at 10 PM expect English (I do my English earlier because it is my most important class). I even kept my PS3 in the attic one day, thinking that I can do my homework but I still got distracted. I think my problem is that I play too much. On holidays I will study but most of the time I will be playing on my PS3. I want to solve my problem but I don’t know how to. Even in class while listening what the teacher is saying I look away and something will catch my attention and I don’t listen what the teacher is saying.

The three things I get distracted from are PS3, TV, and Computer. Sometimes I never get distracted by these things.  I don’t know why but I want to solve the3 problem

How I Got Idea For Memoir

I like to write memoirs but the problem is that I am not a good writer. One day in class Mrs. Meadows told everyone to write a memoir but I was in complete problems because I didn’t know what to write about. That made me worried in her class. Everyone started to write about thing. Even I started writing about the day when he went to Playa Blanca and how I had fun. Then I stopped red mine from the start to how much I red. I wasn’t impressed with me with me work so I tried to improve it. That when Mrs. Meadows told the whole class that

“Everyone must have ten craft moves in their memoir. I was even confused when she said that because didn’t know what a craft move was. Then I went online and clicked

“What is a is a craft move”

And the reply came. I read the reply and I started working. Write just then I started thinking about me first swimming class with Raj my cousin. Then Mrs. told us that

“Every one copy the craft moves in your writing journal”. I did what she said, I wrote down all the craft moves in my writing journal. There was still 20 minutes left in class. Mrs. Meadows told that

“Guys if you come across any craft move you can tell and we can write it down on the chart”, after she told us that. I started to write about my swimming first swimming class.

The Catcher In The Rye

The catcher in the rye a book by the author named JD Salinger. This is a realistic fiction book but the content in the book is what happens in real life. This book was banned as soon as it was realized because it had in appropriate langue in it. The year of the banning is from 1951 to 2001. But it was unbanned form in 2002

The catcher in the rye is relevant to this time. I can say this because even fourth graders know all the in appropriate langue in the book. And also parents want their kid to know about sex. And all lot of students runaway from school because of some reason.  So the book is relevant to this time.

The catcher in the rye is a good help to the future. It has school experiences that happen in reality. By reading the book you can get to know how the real world functions which is very helpful in the future.  This book also can be a good guide about how to survive in the real world. Even though it has bad word it is a good book for young readers because it teaches them a lot.

A lot of people say this book should be banned because this book has inappropriate langue.  At first when the book came out everyone was shock that this book had a lot of in appropriate langue so it was banned from school kids. But it is still on the banned list but it is not banned. But in some countries the book is still banned because it is believed that this book is a bad influence on kid.  So that’s why some people tell that this book is not relevant to this time

The catcher in the rye is very relevant to this time.  And teaches should make the kids to read it.  It can help the kid get to know about the real world. Help kid understand the book. And this book is fun to read.

Learning To Swim

Synopsis of Learning to Swim

In the book learning to swim by Ann Turner, the author talks about her story when she was molested by her friend, Kevin. The significance of the title is that she connects swimming to life. When she said she was sinking while swimming, it was because she was thinking about Kevin molesting her. The author has realized that if you get hurt by someone, don’t be afraid to tell an elder. This book is organized in a poem format which makes it very appealing. It starts like this:

Annie and her family go to their summer house for the summer break. After a few days she makes a lot of friends and Kevin is one of them. At first she thought that Kevin was a nice guy but after getting molested she got to know his true colors. Being getting molested was making her feel weird for some days. After noticing Annie’s odd behavior her mom asked, “What book did you read with Kevin in your room?” Then she tells the whole story. Her mom goes to Kevin’s house. Since her visit and until Annie left her summer house, Kevin didn’t even come out of his house. But after returning home she has a dream that Kevin came to kill her but it was actually her dad who had stepped into her room to see what she was doing. From that day she was able to get back to her normal life. By this memoir she got to know about herself that no one can ever force her to do what she didn’t want to do. My thoughts about the book are that it is very enjoyable and interesting. When you read the title it gives another meaning but when you read the book surprisingly it is not what you think. That is a good touch the author made. In this memoir you can actually visualize what she is telling you which shows that the book has good description. One of the lines I liked is: “I was drowning in swimming because I was thinking about Kevin.” I like this line because it is more meaningful than it seems. Ann Turner is connecting life with swimming when she is saying that her life is going down because she is still not able to get over what Kevin did.
